The trip back and forth to Lynchburg this week left many bug carcasses on the front of the car and we couldn't stand to look at the rest of the filth either. So we gave it a bath.

We went to the Farmer's Market in Lynchburg with Sally this morning. While we were waiting in line at "Country Cooking by Irene" I was snapping some random photos with this gentleman said "Get one of me". I quickly obliged him. He then gave me his address and told me to send it to him. I intend to oblige that request as well.

We went to the Snowflex complex at Liberty University last night. It's a man made place where people can snowboard and ski on a surface the texture of hard velco that gets sprayed periodically with water. It was very cool.

We were in Downtown Nashville last night shooting some engagement photos and I snagged this shot while crossing the street. This guy is a staple downtown and probably does more business than most of the horse-drawn carriages I bet.

These are live grapes on the vine at Art's property in North Mississippi. The vine is in the front yard and has been on the property longer than the house. If you've had any of Art's homemade wine at our house, chances are it was from this vine.

Franklin Theater Sneak Preview - 07.10.10

We were walking around Downtown Franklin last night and noticed that the Franklin Theater on Main St. had a little hole cut in the wall surrounding the front. The theater is being renovated and will be reopened after being closed for many years.

We went and watched the fireworks put on by the City of Franklin at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. There was a great turnout and the city did a great job on the show. This shot is of one of the fireworks going off in the distance before the show. Probably a neighboring city, or just some homeowners having fun.
