"Murph" - 06.28.10
Many of the workouts we do in Crossfit are named in honor of U.S. Military Veterans who died in combat. Today's workout was one of those. Navy Seal Lt. Michael Murphy died in Afghanistan June 28, 2005 while hunting a Taliban leader in Afghanistan. Today's workout was Michael's favorite and is now known as "Murph". We did the workout today in honor of his service to our country and to honor his death on it's anniversary.

Our Church had a fun picnic at the Williamson County Rec Center on Memorial Day. We had a great time hanging out with friends and playing sports. Here's our friend's Scott and Jen's cute son Eli.

Biscuit - 05.29.10
Sad day today. Blakley's parents had to have their dog of 13 years euthanized. Biscuit was a character. She gave us all many many laughs throughout the years. Not only was she quite the entertainer, but she was a master at people manipulation. She developed a secret language of nudges, noises and gestures with Richard and Linda that yielded her countless walks, door openings and most notably, food. Notice I didn't say "treats". Biscuit was about "food". There isn't enough space in the blog to list all of her favorites so I'll just wrap this up by saying that she was a great dog, a loyal pet and a beloved member of the family. You are already missed Biscuit. Back in 5 minutes.
